LCD BACKLIGHT DISPLAY and SOUND WARNING: The multifunctional wall scanner sensor has a backlit graphic LCD display, which can display many clues during the detection process, such as detection mode, signal strength, automatic calibration, battery indication, sound warning, etc, which can detect the precise location of the object. After the stud finder finds the material, the LCD display will indicate the direction, and the intensity of the beep will indicate whether you are closer to the target.
AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION: This stud detector has an automatic calibration function. Place it flat on the wall, turn on the power button, and then press the "Scan" button to start calibration. When the "beep" sound and the screen display disappear, the calibration is complete. When approaching the edge of the stud, the viewfinder will flash and beep. If the stud finder leaves the wall, the test results will be biased. Please re-calibrate to avoid errors and improve the detection accuracy.

How to find out the stud?
① Calibrate The Tool Before Every Scan
After choose the mode, press and hold the scan button (on the right side of the tool) to calibrate this tool. Wait for the reducing bars disappeared and beep to confirm calibration has completed
If shake or lift the scanner accidently, the device needs to be re-calibrate, In Metal/AC mode, put it in the air to calibrate it
② Scan The Wall
After the stud finder finds the material, the LCD display will indicate the direction, and the intensity of the beep will indicate whether you are closer to the target
③ Find The Location of The Stud
When the signal bar is full and the beep alarm is loudest, it means you have found the center of an object. Mark it with your pencil
