Description

This auction is for a gently used, Motorola DR3000 UHF 403-470 MHz, 30W repeater, which has been loaded with the single site Capacity Plus trunking and NAI Voice options. The unit is in excellent cosmetic and working condition and was recently calibrated and loaded with the latest firmware for this model: 2.09.00.03.
The optional Capacity Plus feature installed on this unit, which retails for well over 00, means it is capable of operation in either analog/digital conventional, or MotoTRBO IP based trunking modes. There is also a rear accy port for USB programming and connection of optional external accessories.
The DR series of repeaters is sold originally in European and this particular model is equivalent to the US XPR8400. As such, it can serve as a compatible replacement in any Motorola single site CP trunking system (multi-site is available from an authorized distributer), in addition to stand-alone operation. As long as CPS version 2.0 or higher is used, there is no need for a European specific version. If you do not have access to CPS 2.0, I can include a copy of the legacy European CPS (by email or enclosed DVD) at no additional charge.
This is the final version of the DR3000 and comes with 64MB of internal memory (as opposed to 8MB in first generation models), meaning it also supports satellite receiver operation, Link-CapacityPlus trunking (Multi-Site), RAS, and several others.
