    Description

    Scarce EF Johnson mobile transceiver, model 250-825. It's got a power adapter for 120VAC household current and a cigarette lighter adapter for 12VDC power. Radio powers up on 120V power and generates static from the internal speaker. I have no antenna and could not pull in a signal. Pressing the TX button on the handset turns the channel backlight red and mutes the static.
    I don't know why there is a knob on the Reset button, but it doesn't come off readily and doesn't seem to do anything. I will leave it to the new owner to figure that one out.
